Osinbajo, Saraki, Dangote, Tinubu, IBB, Dogara & other influential Nigerians 'appealed' to Gov Ganduje to suspend probe of Kano Emirates

n May 22, after receiving a letter from the State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, the Kano State House Assembly called off its investigation into allegations of misappropriation of funds and other infractions against the Kano Emirates Council. 
If you recall, the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II was accused of financial recklessness, with an allegation stating that he spent as much as N6 billion since he ascended the throne in 2014.

In the letter read during to the house by the Speaker, Kabiru A Rurum, it was then reported that the governor urged the Assembly to suspend its investigation following pleas by former leaders, traditional rulers and various statesmen across the federation.

The letter has now been shared publicly in a newspaper and the names of the very influential Nigerians who appealed have been revealed. What are your thoughts on this?

Malpractice - over 10,000 students caught in Anambra state, says JAMB

The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) says more than 10,000 candidates caught for examination malpractices in the on-going UTME in Anambra have been handed over to appropriate authority. Mrs Lynda Nwachukwu, the Coordinator of the board in Anambra, disclosed this in Awka on Saturday. The computer-based testing (CBT) mode 2017 UTME, which started on May 13 in 642 centres nationwide, ended on May 20. Nwachukwu said that the examination, which took place in 28 centres in the state, was successful. “There was no disruption of the exercise in any of the examination centres,’’ she said. The coordinator said that the candidates adhered strictly to the requirements of the examination, adding that JAMB provided all the materials required for the examination. However, some parents complained of system failure in some CBT centres in the state.
